Orangette In the Kitchen - Misunderstood Vegetables 1/31/2008

This week I had the privilege of attending another class at the Ciao Thyme Kitchen. This class was aptly titled Misunderstood Vegetables and it was taught by Molly and Brandon from Orangette. It was a really great evening with some simple yet amazingly delicious prepared vegetables like the infamous brussels sprout and highly underappreciated Cauliflower. […]

Teresa 1/29/2008

Photographing people in Portland is always fun regardless if its a CEO, an engagement session or headshots for a portfolio.   Living in NW Portland (near NW 23rd and NW 21st, aka nob hill), there’s never a shortage of new places to shoot.
Check out the really fun slideshow of my shoot […]

Britt & Mike Wedding - Bellingham Country Club 1/29/2008

Here is another late 2007 wedding. Britt and Mike were married at the Bellingham Country Club were Boone and I enjoyed spending time with them and their family. I must add that our good friend Steve Moore designed the place and the 24 hour makeover was impressive to say the least. Ashley created the cake […]

Beth & Zilla - Lummi Island Wedding 1/25/2008

Back in November Boone and I enjoyed being a part of an intimate wedding out on Lummi Island at The Willows Inn. It was an all day event and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves photographing and taking in the beautiful northwest celebration. The people were amazing and the day just seemed to be perfect. It’s […]

Susan - Professional Headshots in Portland 1/18/2008

These were shot in the Lloyd Tower right outside of Nordstrom.  I love it when I can use rows of lights in the ceiling to help compose a photo.  The second shot will have text in the copy space on the left side.  Also the Eames furniture adds a nice touch.

Young Professionals of Vancouver 1/18/2008

For the last few months I’ve been shooting events for the Young Professionals of Vancouver.  Even though I live in NW Portland, they’re a good crowd to network with and it’s worth the little commute across the Columbia.  If you make it to one of the events, make sure to find me and say hi.  […]

Shannon & Dave 1/18/2008

Even though we took December off from weddings, we still have a handful of late ‘07 weddings to post on the blog. Look for those weddings soon. In the meantime, here are Shannon and Dave who we’ll be working with in February. We got together in cold and windy Bellingham for a session on […]

Onyx Coffee 1/10/2008

On Saturday Ashley and I had the privilege of attended the soft launch for Onyx Coffee. Since meeting Edwin and Aaron watching the World Cup Soccer Matches at Kendrick’s, I’ve gotten to know and respect their knowledge, passion and hard work with Coffee. If you remember back to earlier this year, I had the […]

In the Kitchen Bellingham - Cooking Classes to Start! 1/7/2008

In November Boone and I shot a very fun and intimate wedding out on Lummi Island (which we’ve yet to post about!). It was enjoyable but still a long day. It seemed late when we drove off the ferry and Ashley called to see if we wanted to stop by the Kitchen to take some […]

Mt. Hood 1/5/2008

I love the holidays!  Jacqi and I managed to take a couple of weeks off to just relaxed and enjoy ourselves over Christmas and New Years.  And what a blessing it was!
For Christmas we spent time with both Jacqi’s family and mine.  It is so meaningful to have such loving family on both […]
