Travel Photography

In doing research for my upcoming trip I was reminded of some very inspiring photos from a friend of mine Nick Onken who recently traveled through Asia. Please check out his amazing photos.

Travel Photography: coffee inspired

Yesterday I was invited to spend a week shooting in Guatemala. I’m very grateful for the amazing opportunity and booked a ticket that same night. I was invited by Edwin of Finca Vista Hermosa. I’ll be tagging along on their planned Barista Trip. I’m truly excited for this opportunity and hope to bring back some great photos to post.

Anyone know of any free extensive language courses online? :)

Yet Another Photoshoot cancelled due to Weather

Living in the Pacific Northwest it’s no surprise that I (somewhat regularly) have to reschedule photoshoots with clients due to weather. Today was no different. Here’s the view from my office downtown. I can’t complain because I love snow. I took a nice stroll around the block in our temporary winter wonderland. Usually the snow only lasts a few days at most so I like to enjoy it while we’ve got it!

the groomsman

Congratulations to Nate & Anne!  Their wedding was yesterday at the Marshill Wedgewood location and reception on board the Skansonia in Seattle. Nate’s Groomsmen had some nice rifles that they wanted incorporated into their photos.

Anne was a theater major at SPU, as were many of the guests.  In fact, most of the SPU Players were able to attend, which made for quite a lively and entertaining  night.
