Susan - Professional Headshots in Portland

susan

These were shot in the Lloyd Tower right outside of Nordstrom.  I love it when I can use rows of lights in the ceiling to help compose a photo.  The second shot will have text in the copy space on the left side.  Also the Eames furniture adds a nice touch.

Young Professionals of Vancouver

For the last few months I’ve been shooting events for the Young Professionals of Vancouver.  Even though I live in NW Portland, they’re a good crowd to network with and it’s worth the little commute across the Columbia.  If you make it to one of the events, make sure to find me and say hi.

Shannon & Dave

Even though we took December off from weddings, we still have a handful of late ‘07 weddings to post on the blog. Look for those weddings soon. In the meantime, here are Shannon and Dave who we’ll be working with in February. We got together in cold and windy Bellingham for a session on the water and had fun. Even though it was freezing, the rain managed to stay away while we shot and the clouds with sun breaks add a great feel to the images, great for a couple that loves to be outdoors.

Onyx Coffee

Onyx_022

On Saturday Ashley and I had the privilege of attended the soft launch for Onyx Coffee. Since meeting Edwin and Aaron watching the World Cup Soccer Matches at Kendrick’s, I’ve gotten to know and respect their knowledge, passion and hard work with Coffee. If you remember back to earlier this year, I had the opportunity to travel down to Guatemala with Edwin and every time I hang out with Edwin I try to have my camera in hand because there are always great opportunities for photos. In this case people gathered to celebrate Onyx Coffee and the grower that provided the coffee beans for the roast, Villaure Coffee. Yes, it was pretty cool to show up and be served a traditional Guatemalan breakfast, meet the man responsible for growing the coffee (Aurelio Villatoro Castillo) and then taste the coffee freshly roasted by Onyx… and then taste the coffee paired with Ashley’s Desserts and fresh fruit. I hid behind my camera a little bit which is easy to do for me, but had a great time and enjoyed the experience. Check out the Onyx Blog, when Edwin isn’t traveling the globe he writes some great posts.
