Gabe and I recently had the opportunity to photograph Stephanie & Matt’s wedding on Orcas Island in the San Juan Islands. Hitting the end of our ferry ride, we set out for our destination, the Outlook Inn. You might recognize them from our Bellevue Engagement Session that we shot two weeks before the wedding!
Stephanie and Matt have been completely enjoyable to work with, so it was fun to meet their family and friends. It was easy to tell that the couple is well loved by their guests.
Regardless of the fact that it poured most of the day, their wedding was charmingly beautiful and clearly just as meaningful.

just found you guys, but your work is wonderful - and in our opinion, you shoot in the best place on earth!
THOSE ROCK!
Some of my favorites are:
- Matt and his boys with umbrellas
- Matt and I busting up laughing
- champagne cheers by Lisa
- Matt embarrassed by Annie
- “how low can you go” by Doug and Jenny
- night-time photo of bride and groom
- serious dancing by Uncle Sergio and Aunt Chris
Thanks so much!!!
Uncle SERGIO!!
He was rocking the house!
These pictures are beautiful!
Hey Fellas, your photos are beautiful. I’m re-living the wonderful evening, what a fun time…my Sergio looks hot!! Can’t wait to see all the photos you took…you should have one of me and Sergio in our white robes. Oh Stephie & Matt - wonderful memories…thank you!
I’m surprised the camera shutter was able to capture Uncle Sergio, he’s such a crazzzy dancer! My favorite photo was the Bride entering the chapel. Shout out to all our Wedding weekend friends. We had so much fun from 6 am to 1 am each day on Orcas it took me a week to recover! The Wedding top off a weekend filled with fun at the BBQ, kayaking, karaoke “she’s in love with the boy”, singing Bohemian Rhapsody all the from the Tavern to the Outlook Inn and the night cap at Vern’s. Thanks again Melinda! All your hard work made for a awesome weekend just like Stephanie and Matt wanted.
Love the first dance photo … very dramatic.
Fan-freakin-tastic!
Jacqi: yeah it was… then somehow i didn’t see where boone was and walked right into his frame and kneeled down. if we had our secret service headset in he could’ve told me to get out of the way!
Yes Jeremy, we LOVE the pacific northwest! West Coast all the way.
