Inspired by my friend, James Moes‘ recent engagement shoot at Powell Butte, Dan, Jaime and I headed up to the Butte to shoot their engagement photos.

I think one of the first times I met Aaron was with a group of mutual friends watching World Cup 2006. I’ve enjoyed getting to know him more since and it’s been even more fun to see him light up when he’s around Sarah.

Sometimes we get to climb trees.

I’m uber excited to introduce you all to this rad couple: Allison and James. Their wedding will be later this year in Tacoma, WA but I was able to fly out to Cambridge, MA for their engagement session. The Harvard campus is unbelievably rich in history and it was neat to shoot in a place that is so meaningful to Allison and James as they met there and have spent the past 7 years together there. Last week I had the privilege of traveling to Durham, NC with The Resurgence to photograph the Advance09 conference. I was geeking out at the opportunity to listen to some of my favorite speakers as well as the chance to photograph the event.
