The day was full of laughs, tears and rain.

Seriously! We got caught in a fat gust of windy rain.

Though it did rain through the whole ceremony, the Shakespeare Garden (in the Rose Garden) stayed true and kept up it’s incredible charm. Chris and Kari seemed to take it all in loving every moment.

After a very rainy ceremony, everybody warmed up and dried off at the Chart House.

When Jon (finally) proposed to MariAnne, Boone and I were amongst the first to know. You see Jon is the third sibling to get married in his family, all of which were shot by Gabriel Boone Photography. MariAnne had contacted us about shooting their nuptials before they were actually engaged!! One night at about midnight I got an email from MariAnne with a date exclaiming that Jon had just proposed. Our clients are the coolest.

I’m very excited to be working with Jonah and Elyse on their wedding. I’ve been kept in the loop on all things to do with their wedding through Heather Hall of Mona Lisa Events and it’s gonna be a fan-freakin-tastic celebration. I also have to mention that Jonah played keys in our High School Jazz Band back in the day (I played upright bass). It was a Random Rad Reconnection!

What can I say about Mark and Brittany!? Check out the video above… they are beautiful and totally in love. I’m pretty sure Mark pulled off the best vows I’ve ever heard. I wish I had written them to my wife. I’ll let the images tell the rest.

Boone got the shot of the day with this ring shot. At one point I was pretty sure Gabriel Boone Photography was going to be purchasing a damaged Chihuly. Fortunately not.

The ceremony was held at Urban Grace Church - Tacoma, WA. Reception followed at Union Station Tacoma. Video clip via Canon 5dII.
