Tim + Dannielle // Married in La Conner, WA

La Conner, WA Wedding Where to begin. Boone and I grew up with Tim’s family. I’m pretty sure the Larson’s were there to help unload our bright yellow moving truck and welcomed us from the desert to this rainy state over 20 years ago. Boone and I have been fortunate enough now to have photographed all three of the Larson ‘kids’ as Tim’s brother Shaun and his sister Kirstin were among the first weddings that Boone and I photographed together back in 2006. You’ll also notice that Boone pulled double duty taking on groomsman responsibilities and at strategic times wielding a camera to help capture the day. All that to say, we feel honored to live life with the Larson Family and to have photographed their weddings. Sahalie Ski Club Wedding

2012 ended with a winter wedding in the snow up at the Sahalie Ski Club. It was an intimate speakeasy themed wedding and folks traveled through the snow and ice to attend. Suffice to say there were feathers, zoot suits, kids learning to play craps taking the adults for all they had, two bars, passwords, spotlights, fire breathing dancers, a New Orleans style brass band (TubaLuba), and more. Most stayed over night in the bunks upstairs and I’m pretty sure when we had breakfast the next morning, some of the people were just heading to bed. Pretty crazy stories over breakfast.

We’re still finishing up the last images of 2012 and looking forward to 2013. A big Thank You to all our couples and the many friends we’ve made at weddings in 2012 (and before). Boone and I have been very blessed to work with truly great people which really makes what we do meaningful.
