Ally + Darrell // New Years Eve Wedding

Ally + Darrell were married on New Years Eve and had an awesome industrial wedding in The Pearl District.  Being the middle of Winter, we photographed all of their portraits after dark and had a blast.


We started out with their first look at The Nines.





Ally is a writer.  They asked their guest to circle sentences that will remind them of their wedding day.


It was the first time I’ve seen a preacher say “Now you can kiss the bride and tweet about it!”  Ally + Darrell have an awesome semi-online dating story and Darrell is a social media consultant.

Kirk + Whitney // SODO Park Wedding

Five Seven brilliant things about Kirk + Whitney and their Sodo Park Wedding:

  • Whitney is a Pastry Chef here in the beautiful city of Seattle.
  • How amazing the wedding was yet how comfortable everyone was enjoying themselves.
  • Boone experiencing Kirk’s piano playing (at the Alexis Hotel) while Gabe hangs with the ladies at Swink Style Bar.

  • The look on Kirk’s face as Whitney walked down the aisle.
  • Did I mention Whitney is a pastry chef, she baked cookies for their guests, and they had sweet treats from some of my favorite places in Seattle? (Bakery Nouveau, Theo Chocolate, Hot Cakes Confections, and Trophy Cupcakes)
  • Did I mention Macarons from Bakery Nouveau?

    Kyle + Sarah // Seattle Aquarium Wedding


    Five rad things about Kyle + Sarah’s Seattle Aquarium wedding:

  • They had a wedding logo
  • Their logo was a LobsterPig
  • They went donkey kong on a LobsterPig Piñata during their reception
  • Sarah’s beautiful dress had pockets
  • Sarah and Kyle powered through a coooold photo session on the pier and gave us plenty of time. They also did a great job keeping each other warm.
