Amy and Jim were married in Oregon’s wine country. Their wedding was a meaningful joining of two families. Surrounded by the people they love, enjoying good wine and delicious food (prepared in our midst) and with children running around the manicured lawns in the background, Amy and Jim enjoyed an intimate evening celebrating their marriage.

My friends Chris & Rochelle were recently married at the Terwilliger Vista House Bed & Breakfast. Their wedding was unlike any other I have attended or photographed.  Every guest was a close friend or family member who has walked through life together with Chris & Rochelle, and also contributed to the day in a specific way.  Their friend’s David & Marie came down from Seattle to prepare dinner, Gino made the wine, Mike gave a beautiful homily, Mellisa used flowers from her garden to make the bouquet, I photographed it all and Jacqi hosted our table.  There were just over 30 of us all together.

It was a delicious, beautiful, intimate, and fun celebration.




If you get the chance, ask Chris’ grandmother Joyce about water skiing and snowmobiling.

I loved the emotion between Amanda and Adam and their families. It was very real.

I also need to thank Ben Bender who was assisting for the day. Ben saved the evening when the sprinkler system went off unexpectedly during the reception. The dad’s were trying to plug the water and I was to busy photographing them to be of much help. Ben came out of nowhere and shut it down!
