Monday and this picture makes me laugh. A bridal party shot in front of the U.S. - Canadian border (Peace Arch Park)… and yes, that’s me (best man!) throwing my son Baron in the air. I’m stoked! Jacqi and I are taking advantage of the holiday weekend and are heading up to British Columbia for a couple of days. Since we met and spent most of our time dating up there, we thought we’d take a quick jot up there and visit some of our favorite spots. Maybe I’ll take a few photos and post them here. Just maybe…

In the meantime I’ll share this sunrise photo taken on a hike with my Father in-law in the Columbia River Gorge. We summited Mount Defiance in late September. At around 5000 feet, Mt. Defiance is the highest peak in the Gorge I guess. Its quite a trek starting at sea level. Even though this view was only around 600 feet high, I believe it was the best view we had all day.
