We’re not usually ones to toot our own horn, but we were recently talked about in a post on the Baron & Company Blog… and liked what they had to say

Shooting Attorneys in Bellingham

I enjoyed working with this group of Lawyers and having shot them before, we were all a bit more comfortable with each other. The lighting is a little more sloppy than I’d like, but we pulled this idea off at the end of the shoot as the group was ready to leave. They were so great in letting me try one more idea, I quickly guesstimated the settings and fired off a handful. I think the client will end up liking these the best (and using them for the pubs). Not everyday you get to say ‘I just shot 8 attorneys.’

We’ve actually had a great response to our recent images and some requests for personal usage lead us to finally put together a few desktop downloads for y’all. I hope these will be the first of many over time and if there is a size we’re leaving out, don’t be shy.

Pirates Plunder

I spent a day last week shooting on the high seas. We man’d a 35ft power-boat motoring patterns around a 3 mast sail boat carrying 35 people to the islands for a day of team building for a local popular software/technology company. The goal was to get a number of compelling shots showcasing the ‘adventure’ and ‘energy’ of the day and the grandness of the boat as an accent in the massive and natural beauty of the pacific northwest. The weather cooperated and I combated the cold wind with my REI thermo glove/mittens (which are indispensable for shooting in the northwest weather).
We’ve been pretty busy this month on shoots, traveling and working in the yard welcoming spring. Ashley and I picked up a handful of chicks and they are growing like crazy. Our new vegetable garden should be finished this weekend and I hope to get a fence up on the yard so that Baron has a safe place to play this summer. It’s been great having more daylight in the evenings and better weather to get out and get a little dirty. I’m sure images and posts will ensue on the small farm that we are building here in Bellingham. Ashley has some images up on her artisan sweets blog.
