Inspired by my friend, James Moes‘ recent engagement shoot at Powell Butte, Dan, Jaime and I headed up to the Butte to shoot their engagement photos.

I’m uber excited to introduce you all to this rad couple: Allison and James. Their wedding will be later this year in Tacoma, WA but I was able to fly out to Cambridge, MA for their engagement session. The Harvard campus is unbelievably rich in history and it was neat to shoot in a place that is so meaningful to Allison and James as they met there and have spent the past 7 years together there. Miranda + Will meet blog. Blog meet Miranda + Will.

Miranda was a bridesmaid at Shawn + Kathryn’s Greenlake wedding in 2007 and we ran in similar circles over at the INN back in the day. Will flew in from the East coast and we were lucky to have a perfect day shooting downtown Seattle while he was in town. The entire shoot took place at one intersection: 5th & Pike which is where they met. I can’t even begin to tell their amazing story but think of your favorite Romantic Comedy and insert their names, it’s really a movie worthy story. Boone and I are excited to shoot their wedding at the Arctic Club later this year with our friend and uber-talented designer Steven Moore. Enjoy.
