We’ve been shooting in the Gorge quite a bit this summer and loving it. For Emily & Josh’s wedding, we had the pleasure of having our friend Jen second shoot - Cheers Jen!
Lovin’ the voodoo doughnut, way to represent PDX.
Gorge Crest Vineyards is just on the other side the Columbia River Gorge from Hood River.
Tech question: can you see how we lit this ring shot? What do you think?

Catherine + Quoc // NW Portland

Catherine & Quoc were married about five blocks down the road from our place in NW Portland (Boone & Jacqi’s apt) at Saint Mary’s Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. There’s this epic blue wall, close to Burnside I’ve always thought would be fun to shoot in front of. We had a chance to hit that up, and then later head over to the Oregon Golf Club for their reception.

Haven’t had enough, check out their e-sesh we shot in the Pearl District and Downtown Portland at The Nines.
Miranda + Will // Married - Arctic Club, Seattle

This is gonna be a long one. Miranda and Will were married at the Arctic Club not far from where they first met on 5th & Pike downtown Seattle. (Check out their engagement session at 5th & Pike.) Our job was made easier by our friend Steve at Steven Moore Designs who designed an amazing event. He pretty much rocked the house by setting the mood with dripping candles and fresh flower arrangements. Also check out the Lacrosse Helmet Grooms cake from Mike’s Amazing Cakes. Enjoy! (I almost forgot… perfectly applied makeup was done by Kaarin Boyd! We worked with Kaarin at Megan’s V-day wedding.)

Pay Attention Guys. This is how to kiss a Woman.

Gotta love videographers. :)

Miranda and her Dad tore it up on the dance floor.

The last images of the night. Will left the party carrying his new Bride to their room.
…and just in case you didn’t get enough, here’s the link to their slideshow. Boom.
Chris + Kari // Portland Rose Gardens
The day was full of laughs, tears and rain.
Seriously! We got caught in a fat gust of windy rain.
Though it did rain through the whole ceremony, the Shakespeare Garden (in the Rose Garden) stayed true and kept up it’s incredible charm. Chris and Kari seemed to take it all in loving every moment.
After a very rainy ceremony, everybody warmed up and dried off at the Chart House.
