I think one of the first times I met Aaron was with a group of mutual friends watching World Cup 2006. I’ve enjoyed getting to know him more since and it’s been even more fun to see him light up when he’s around Sarah.

Miranda + Will meet blog. Blog meet Miranda + Will.

Miranda was a bridesmaid at Shawn + Kathryn’s Greenlake wedding in 2007 and we ran in similar circles over at the INN back in the day. Will flew in from the East coast and we were lucky to have a perfect day shooting downtown Seattle while he was in town. The entire shoot took place at one intersection: 5th & Pike which is where they met. I can’t even begin to tell their amazing story but think of your favorite Romantic Comedy and insert their names, it’s really a movie worthy story. Boone and I are excited to shoot their wedding at the Arctic Club later this year with our friend and uber-talented designer Steven Moore. Enjoy.

This past week I turned another year older. I really wanted some portraits of our family to capture this unbelievably fun yet crazy time in our lives. With two outlandishly cute boys and a smoking hot wife, life is good.

Boone was in Seattle for the weekend and Ashley arranged for a little birthday gift to me of some time in front of the camera with Boone. We hit up a park in Capital Hill and Boone rocked some sweet images that really capture our family. There’s a lot of love, laughing, energy and a bit of boogers as well. Thank you Ashley for the perfect gift and thank you Boone for your time and your eye! I’m thinking a fat canvas wrap will do the trick… especially when we get a new place in Ballard (but that’s another story for another time).
