After shooting a handful of people down in Portland, I headed up to Seattle for the weekend to work with the band, Quiet By Ten. Trying to shoot bands is like hearding cats, but all in all, we came out with some really incredible images for their new album, Monster Village. Jeremy (the fella in the individual portrait) also works for a DJ company and will be MC’ing my wedding in a few weekends.  My favorite touch in the above photo is that nasty, wet, dirty little dog.  If you look closely you’ll see his tongue is out and he is licking his nose. 

Since moving down to the Portland area I’ve been meeting some really cool people… and shooting them. The other day I had two shoots downtown back to back. Got a little sunburnt, drank a lot of coffee, had a really good time.

The afternoon shoot was a combo deal for me, shooting some stock images of Wendy, and also providing a one on one lesson in lighting for a local photographer Meghan. I’m actually in the process of planning my first workshop on lighting scheduled for later this summer.
