Spring is for lovers. I’ve been having fun meeting up with clients, shootin engagement sessions, and hearing about summer wedding plans. This weekend I shot Catherine & Quoc’s e-sesh in the Pearl District and at the Nines downtown. We had a some spectacular weather and a real fun time hangin out and shooting. I even shot some HD video of them with my new 5D mk II for a little behind the scenes footage.

Portland’s Eco Wedding Show - At Olio United, this Friday March 6th, 2009, 5-8pm. We’re pumped that we’ve been invited to such an event!

Ok.. the image above isn’t really the style seen on the GB blog… we like to keep things fresh and mixed up.  Rian, Becky & I met at a friend’s birthday party over the summer.  It turns out Becky & I are practically neighbors on ol’ nob hill! 

Our e-sesh was pretty incredible - a beautiful walk around the block that we all call home, snapping pictures along the way.  We caught word that Lizard Lounge was doing some First Thursday festivities after our shoot, so we hit that up for some drinks, socializing & ping pong.

How many brides get to design out the whole layout of their wedding venue and have her Uncle move the earth to her desires with his John Deere?  When Jen & Troy and I first met to talk about their wedding, she ran some ideas by me regarding where to plant the backdrop for the photos!  I loved the idea of hundreds of thousands of sunflowers everywhere.
