This was fun sunny afternoon hanging out with Brother Boone in Ballard, the neighborhood where I live. It's an old Scandinavian fishing village taken over by bigger homes, condos and people that think they're sailors. I don't have a beard this bushy anymore, but I do love this neighborhood.
Paulo came up from Brazil for our Food Photography Workshop. He films and produces his wife's cooking show on the Food Network in Brazil. These images are from my mirrorless Canon-M camera shot at The Fat Hen in Ballard. We filled the small café with loud laughs.
My wife Ashley and I taught a food photography workshop together (hosted by our friend Aran Goyoaga in her beautiful new studio). I really enjoyed working alongside my talented and beautiful wife and people traveled from all over for the workshop. We walked to Pike Place to photograph all the wonders that the Market has to offer. I really enjoyed working through all the nuts and bolts of photography with a fun group of creatives.
